15 November 2021, (Rishika Rajput) - Petrol Diesel Dealers Association has announced a strike in Haryana on Monday i.e. today. Because of this, all the petrol pumps in the state are closed today, under this, petrol pumps will not open from 6:00 am on November 15 to 6:00 am on November 16. Petrol pump dealer demands that the sale of spurious diesel in the name of biodiesel should be stopped, the VAT on petrol diesel in the state should be reduced to equal to the reduced VAT of the state of Punjab. Dealers should be compensated for the loss due to reduction in exercise duty. Dealer commission which has not increased since 2017 should be increased.
The effect of this strike is clearly visible in Ambala, due to which the public is facing a lot of trouble. People are reaching petrol pumps to get oil, but they are not getting oil due to the strike, people are requesting the employees. There is always vehicular movement at Sharma Petrol Pump on Dabwali Road of Sirsa but today not even a single vehicle was visible due to the strike. According to the pump operators, excise duty and VAT tax is less in Punjab, Rajasthan but it is more in Haryana due to which they are suffering heavy loss.
Like all over the state, petrol pump operators are on strike in Radaur due to various demands under the aegis of All Haryana Petrol Pump Dealers Association. Due to which the drivers are facing many problems due to non-availability of oil. However, it is a matter of relief that in this strike, oil is being available at Reliance Petrol Pump.
