Pune: Orphaned minor alleges rape

Pune:
A 14-year-old girl, a resident of a Karve Road-based remand home, was allegedly raped by an unidentified man on Wednesday. A complaint was lodged with the Deccan Gymkhana police from where it was transferred to the Airport police station on Friday.
According to the police, the victim is a student of standard VIII in a Shirur-based school run by an NGO. The girl was transferred to that school after she completed standard VII from the Karve Road-based remand home.
