Inter School Carrom & Chess Championship 2012 At Manav Rachna International School Sector 21C Faridabad

Faridabad July 17.Manav Rachna International School Sector 21C Faridabad hosted the second Manav Rachna Inter-School Chess and Carrom Championship – 2012 on the 16^th and 17^th of July’12. Mr. Sarkar Talwar (Director Sports MRIU), Mrs. Sanyogita Sharma (Director MRIS 21C Faridabad), Mrs. Nisha Bhalla (Excecutive Director MRIS 21C Faridabad) and Mrs. Ikwinder S. Singh (Principal MRIS 21C Faridabad) graced the opening ceremony with their presence. Mr. Sarkar Talwar encouraged the children to ‘play to win’. Around 200 students from all the 5 schools of Manav Rachna participated with whole hearted enthusiasm and excitement. The participants were divided into four categories – Under 9 (Boys & Girls), Under 11 (Boys & Girls), Under 13 (Boys & Girls) and Seniors (Boys & Girls). Various students participated under the aforementioned categories. The energy levels were high and the participants gave each other a tough fight. The championship culminated on 14^th July 2012 with the declaration of the winners in each category under Chess as well as Carrom. Final Result are as under :
